If you’ve been to a gig
You already know
the four options.
Nothing in
Great night. Then the muffled feeling on the drive home, and the shower the next morning sounding like it’s underwater.
Foamies from the servo
They kill it. The mix turns to mud, the vocals go, and you can’t hear a word your mate’s shouting. So out they come.
The big ones that stick out
They work. But every single night, someone asks what’s that in your ears. Michael wore them for years before he got sick of it and made these.
Standing further back
Works, in the sense that going home early works. You didn’t pay for the back of the room.
For gigs
You want MID.
Three levels, same plug. For live music it’s the blue one nearly every time.
“The all-rounder. Cuts the noise, keeps the clarity. This is the one most people want.”
Down the front, every weekend? MAX takes more off again — it’s the one for concerts up close.
Somewhere in between? The Full Kit gets you all three levels for $49.95, so you can swap depending on the room.
How it works
Three steps.
That’s it.
Pick your level
MID for most gigs. MAX if you’re down the front.
Pop them in
Tab up, slight twist as you push. Low profile, so nobody clocks you’re wearing them.
Enjoy the set
The mix stays clear, the room comes down, and you can still talk between songs.

Before you ask.
Will the music sound muffled?
That’s the difference between these and foamies. A foam plug is a wall — it muffles the lot and the mix turns to mud. The filter takes the edge off and lets the detail through, so it sounds like the band, just quieter.
Can I still talk to people?
Yeah, that’s the point. Speech comes through, so you’re not shouting between songs or pulling them out every five minutes.
Will people see them?
They sit low in the ear and they’re clear, so nobody clocks them unless they’re looking. That was the whole point — Michael got tired of being asked what was in his ears every time he went out.
What if I lose them?
They live in a black aluminium capsule that clips to your keys. That’s the whole reason it’s there — the pair you can find is the pair you’ll actually use.
Are they reusable?
Yep. Wash ’em, dry ’em, back in the capsule. Plug tips and filters both swap out when they eventually wear.
